One of Bob's brilliant pink tutu images!

The Tutu Project

is a nonprofit founded by photographer Bob Carey after his wife, Linda, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Bob began taking self-portraits in a pink tutu in unexpected and often humorous locations. These whimsical images were a way to bring laughter and light to Linda during treatment, but quickly resonated with a much larger community. This project raises funds to help patients with everyday needs like groceries, rent, and transportation. It spreads joy through humor and art to ease the burden of cancer. It builds awareness by showing the power of compassion and community. The pink tutu has become a symbol of love, courage, and support for those facing breast cancer.
